SOCCER!

The kids are finally in a sport that they both love. They are in Soccer. I love it cause it is only for 1 month. Every Saturday. There is a hour gap between both games. But we dont live very far from the school so its nice. Tyra made her first goal last Saturday. It was cancelled today due to the rain. Tyra and Nate are happy and enjoy it. Nate said today "Why are they cancelling it? Its just a little rain." So funny. But his team didnt even show up this morning.

The top picture is just down right funny. Has nothing to do with Soccer but it is still funny. It was cold here last night so the chicken got on top of the sheep to get warm. I told Robbie that that is the height of lazyness.

Birthday

Ok so today is my birthday! (the 20th) Yeah for me. Its just another day to me. You know how it is the older you get them more you dont worry about it. I wish that was the same for alot of things. LOL. Anyway we had a camp fire out in our back yard last weekend. It was so fun. We roasted hot dogs and smores. It was a nice late family home evening. The kids had a lot of fun. Tyra is already asking if we can put up the pool. It has been in the 70's here. But it is not susposed to last. We are susposed to get some rain this weekend. So anyway this is my life. Pretty boring. Just same as always. :)

England

Ok so I went to England and had a BLAST!. I so enjoyed myself. There is just one little problem. I was trying to get the pics off of my camera onto the computer, and I hit format and deleted ALL of the pics. I was so upset. I started to cry. So I have to go by my memories and what is in my head.

I left here on Tuesday the 31st of March. Thanks to some wonderful friends that let me stay the night at there house and then took me to the airport. I left SLC and landed in Chicago, then went on into London England. (Actually Heathrow Airport).

It was a 3 hour flight to Chicago and a 8 hour flight on into England. The flight in to England was at night so I got to sleep. When I arrived in England I had to wait for my sister to show up. It is a 2 hour drive to the airport from there house, but it took 4 hours that day due to traffic.

I was able to go to London while I was down there. It was so amazing. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to go down there. I got to see the changing of the guards, and see the castle. There is nothing but flat green lands. They do alot of farming there. They have alot of pig and sheep farms.

There was this field that was full of sticks all in a row with things hanging on them. I asked my brother in law why they had old shoes hanging on the sticks. He said those are Scare Crows. I looked harder and sure enough there was dead crows hanging by there feet on the sticks. He said that they were scare crows to scare all the other crows off. It is susposed to say "This is what will happen to you if you cross this property". It looked like it was working. There was no crows in the field.

Then it was time for me to head home. We left there house at 7:30 a.m. there time which was 1:30 a.m. our time. I was not flying out till 12:40 but she didnt want me to miss my flight. So I had all my bags cheked in and boarded for a 9 hour flight back to the states.

We was not able to leave for a half an hour. They would not let us get on the runway. So anyway I landed in Chicago and only had 1 1/2 layover. I was hurrying as fast as I could. I had to get through Customs and then get my luggage and put it on the other flight.

I had some snow globes that they would not let me take on the plane with me so I had to check them in, mind you I was able to take them on with me from London to Chicago. So I had to run from on terminal to the other. I barley made it in time to get borded on the plane. I was a crying mess was not able to find the right terminal. Finally I found it and started my way on into SLC. I was never so excited to see SLC. We got home late that night and I was able to catch up on my sleep friday.

Well it finally happened. We took the kids to the eye dr and Nathan didnt need glasses yet, and Tyra did. Nathan wanted them so bad. Tyra is so so about them. She is 20/50 in the right eye and 20/30 in the left. The left eye is doing most of the work. She doesnt have a lazy eye, but the right eye is working harder to keep up with the left eye. She got 2 pairs. The black one and a purple one. The purple one wont be in till next week. I will post another pic of those ones when she gets them. I think that she looks cute. Nate is slowly getting over the fact that he doesnt need them yet. To top it all off they both are going to need braces. Isnt that just adding salt to the wound! lol. We have to make an app for next month for them to see the orthordontist. Nate has a cavity that needs filling, and Tyra is going to have her one front tooth bleached. She has a little yellow stain on the one front tooth that he is going to grind it down and put in a filler. Thats all for now. Thats just the latest goings on in the Taylor Household.

Paul :)

So this morning I come out of the bathroom from getting ready for the day and what do I find? A band aid stuck to my brand new TV. We got a flat screen and have stressed it to the kids not to touch it or go anywhere near it. But Paul just seems to hear "Go ahead and go near it, touch it, put things on it". I dont know what to do with him. He is so full of mischief. Any ideas on what to do with a kid that is into EVERYTHING? I am open to answers. He is always drawing on the walls, on him self and what ever else he can find to draw on. I am sure that if he could he would draw on the dog. I just dont know what to do with him. Is there anything that will work to get him to stop and listen to what we say and not do the opposite of what we say. I dont remember the other 2 being quite like this.

Girls weekend out!

Ok so first of all Tyra and I started the day off with going to the mall of course. Then we went and seen some friends that so kindly invited us to stay with them instead of getting a Hotel. It was really nice of them to let us stay. We had planned on getting a Hotel. Then we went swiming. Well Tyra went. (She only had an hour so I didnt want to go.) Then we went back and got her cleaned up. The here comes the best part! We went to DISNEY ON ICE. It was a BLAST. We got front row seats! That was so cool. Other then the fact that we had to climb the whole flight of stairs to get anything to eat. But thats ok. All night Tyra kept saying "Thanks you so much Mom" I felt so good. The best part of it she got to see Tinker bell up close. (Her nickname). She was on cloud nine. We rode trax down there and back. Then Sunday when we got up we went over to her Best Friends house and they got to spend time together before we left. They have know each other since Kindergarten. They hit it off the very first day. They are so cute together. It was nice to be able to spend time with my daughter. I might not make the right decisions but I but I do love my kids and try to help them enjoy there child hood. :)

tyra

All right here is the right one. To answer the question. No this is just a class that they do like twice a year. Just to give the girls something to do. And to introduce them into dance. I wish that it was a class that was longer. But we will put her in again when it comes around again.

tyra

Sorry that video was the wrong one. There is an error in uploading the other videos. When I am able to get it I will post it. Thanks

Tyra

As promised here is the video of Tyra in Mini Drill. I hope that you all enjoy it. They only had 3 hours of practice. For that I think that they did good.

Pros and Cons

There is Pros and Cons to everything in life. Here is my list of Pros and Cons of living in a small town verses living in the city.

Pros of living in a small town:
There is no stop lights.
Rush hour traffic is being behind a tractor doing 5 mph down the road.
You know where your kids are and who they are with.
Your kids can walk home from school.
Tyra gets to take Piano from family.
Its alot more relaxed. Not as stressfull.
You can actuall see the stars at night!
There is not ANY food options for at least 30 min.
There is only 1 Grocery store and 3 gas stations
The teachers in Elementry and High School are now teaching your kids.

The Cons of living in a small town:
There is no shopping for a hour. You either have to go to Vernal or over to Price.
There is not as many people that you LIKE to visit with.
You realize that the people that you knew in High School did not change.
There is not as many options for Hospitals.
There is not as many food options. (This is both good and bad) lol
You are RIGHT near your in-laws. (not to bad I guess)
There is no MALL

Like I said there is pros and cons to everything. I am enjoying it here. Other than the fact that you have to drive an hour to get to a wal-mart. The grocerie store is really expensive. But what do you expect when there is no compition here. Yes we do have a swimming pool (a very small one. but it does the job). And we also have a bowling alley. It is also not bery big. I am not complaining. It is nice to be back home. But sometimes I miss it out in the city. Not all that much but sometimes. I hope that you all enjoy reading this. I hope that you get a good laugh. One last note. Our Drill Team took Region for the 6th time in a row. They are going to try for 7 next year. :)

The kids

Yes we did it! We finally got tink some High Heels. They are only about an inch high. But she is very happy. We celebrated Pauls Birthday today. Its not till the 11th but we did it now. My parents came up and had dinner with us. He was so happy. He really doesnt know the difference yet. Tyra's in in 2 weeks. And boy is she counting down the days. I think that she is more excited for this than anything. She is actually being quite patient about it.
Paul got a sleeping bag, some sun glasses, a Diego Backpack and some books. He is the one that actually picked out his pj's, his sun glasses, and his Diego. But he fell asleep on the way home from town and so I put them away and he forgot about them till tonight. It was really nice.

GOOD NEWS. The doctors FINALLY found out what is wrong with my dad. He has had a really high fever since he got to the hospital, and his white blood count was really high. He has walking pnemonia (sp). The doctor said that he was starting to brew a pretty good batch. I guess that he was tearing out the old cupboards in my parents house, and the water had leaked back there. Well he did not have a mask on and breathed all that mold in, and on top of that he had a head cold that had settled in his chest. It was in between the tissues so that is why the doctors could not find it. He is doing better. They are keeping him over night one more night. My dad is pretty mad. So that just tells us that he is feeling better. Thanks to all of you who responded to my las post. It is nice knowing that I have friends that keep me and my family in there prayers when things are bad for us. I really do appreciate all the love and concern.

Just about the most scariest thing happened to me yesterday. I was thinking about my dad all day but didnt think anything about it. I just figured that if I did call him what would I say. Well my Mom called me last night about 5:30 p.m. and told me that they was taking my dad to the hospital. He was having really bad chest pains and was having a really hard time breathing. They got him to the hospital and done all sorts of tests on him. His heart looks good and his chest looks good. THey are not sure what is wrong. Early this morning he had another episode. So they gave him some more moriphine and are watching him. He is in ICU right now, and we dont know what is wrong with him. The Doctors are still trying to find out what is wrong. So long story short, when you are thinking of someone call them or go stop by, that feeling is there for a reason.

The kids

Time to update everyone on the fam. Tyra is now taking piano from Robbies sister. It is really nice. She is loving it but the newness is starting to wear off. She still like it but it is hard for her to get up at 6:30 and have to practice for a half hour. Its nice to hear the piano.

The boys are still the same. Just spoiled. But we would not have it any other way. Robbie is now teaching the 3rd Sunday in Elders Quarm. We was there a week and the Elders Quarm Pres cornered him and asked him if he would do it. He loves it. It is kind of different being in the same ward as family so they know all of your business. But on the other hand its nice. There is there down falls to everything. I am not complaining. Dont get me wrong. This move was for the best. Me and Robbie are doing great. There is not as much stress. It is alittle more relaxed and not as fast paced.

I have not got a job and am not in a really big hurry. I will eventually use my schooling. But for right now I am happy staying home and being with the kids. The thing with school is it never goes to waste. It will be there when I am ready for it.

Thanks to all of our friends for being there for us and all the support that they gave us through everything.

This was our family trip to the Dinosaur Museum. We had so much fun. The weather was nice and it was not crowded. We promised the kids that if they helped clean up the house then they would go. Of course all the way over there they were fighting. But thats normal. Well enjoy the pics. C
